About
Hello! My name is aedy miller (they/she), and — as you can see by the website you’re on — I do a little bit of everything.
I’m a journalist-photographer-filmmaker-writer-designer-content creator-et cetera…er from New Jersey with more than a decade’s worth of experience in media creation. I’ve covered protests as a photojournalist, directed live television broadcasts, shot and edited music videos, developed podcasts, written about systemic inequity, and much more.
Most recently, I was a staff reporter for the USA Today Network in South Jersey, where I covered education, labor, the climate crisis, and mental health for the Burlington County Times, Cherry Hill Courier Post, and Vineland Daily Journal.
I graduated from the George Washington University in 2021 with a B.A. in Journalism/Mass Communications and a minor in American Studies. I was a Digital Media and Advocacy Intern at Garden State Equality during the summer of 2019, I was a GLAAD campus ambassador for the 2019-2020 academic year, and I organized the inaugural Trans Awareness Week at my university.
I also used to make comedic, informative, and — hopefully — relatable content on TikTok (@aedyaedyaedy), where I amassed 30,000+ followers.
